And the winner is... Mr Hog! Congrats on your prediction. Not one per half, but you got one of the scorers. IMHO If we'd have scored in the first half, we'd have lost. The 0-0 was exactly what MM needed to gee things up for the second half. God seemed a bit pissed off with the game (God lives on the outskirts of Berkshire ) and decided to try to sink the town of Ipswich with his tears and electrocute the fans with his lightning fingers (like the ones the emperor has in Star Wars). Fortunately for us heathens, his plan didn't work and we got a well deserved win. Man of the match for me was Stephen Hunt. He played his straggly curls off today and was worthy of the standing ovation. I was impressed with the fans too. A sparkly smartphone representation of Vincent Van Gogh's La Nuit Etoiles (Starry Night) was performed by all sides of Portman Road, making the whole place look like Strictly Come Dancing. Well done Town. Well done fans. Hope you're all home and dry now. Onwards an upwards. Let's smash Weeds on Tuesday. E I E I E I O...
Cheers .. About time I got one right... First half thought Reading had the upper hand and was happy to go in at 0.0. Second half we were really up for it and us supporters helped by getting right behind the team . Loved the swaying phone lights all around the ground ( apart from those lot from Reading booooo ) all in all a great win . Up the football ere we go
Hi Warky, agree with Millsy Berra was my MOM, whilst Hunt & Murphy did have very good 2nd half's, Berra kept us tight at the back and kept Le Fondra in his pocket for the most part in both periods of play. There are a number of Town fans (mainly on TWTD) that want Chambo back in the middle with Tommy....! Don't see it myself I rate Berra very highly good in the air, on the floor and a good turn of pace, also fairly comfortable on the ball. Saying that when we get Elliott back I would like us to try 3 CBs and push Cressy & Elliott on into wing backs.! Has Stretchy been on yet.?
