Fryatt
Quinn
Harper

Good to see Quinn inject some energy and pace into the team rather than the pedestrian movement we're used to with Hudd.

Boyd (perpetual motion machine..was all over the field)
Fryatt (took his goals beautifully)
Rosenior (strong on defence and got up well in attack)

Fryatt
Boyd
Quinniesta

Special mention for the crossbar in the 2nd half, only just missed out on 3rd place, what a save to keep it level.

Boyd - Didn't score the goals but showed more ability than anyone else and had the greatest overall impact on the game
Fryatt
Harper

Special mention to Brady who looked class when he came on. His movement and pace, along with Aluko's have been sorely missed.

Brady - changed the game when he came on
Boyd - made some exceptional runs
Quinn - he did exceptional in first half but faded towards the end

Fryatt
Boyd
McShane

McShane had quite a few moments where he was the last defender under pressure in awful conditions and stayed composed.

Just watched the replay. Fryatt made a fantastic run of 70 yards from deep in his own half before taking the ball off Graham's toes to score the first. Brady's movement off the ball to get open several times was absolute class. That's what we've been missing. He has to start against Palace....Brady that is.

Boyd - most industrious & mobile
McShane - couple of" McShane moments", but v. solid & composed 95% of time
Quinn - close second to Boyd in industry & energy
Fryatt - Hon mention - 2 nice goals plus taking initiative from Graham for his first - no beating about the bush
