Graham looks to have played himself out of contention.

Matty tucked a couple away today.

    Long is he fit?

Sagbo I think he's running on empty.

Jelavic. Guaranteed to start I imagine.

Will SB Start Brady and go with one up front??

If fit I think it will be Jelavic and Long. Bit harsh on Matty but thems the breaks. If Long isnt fit then Matty should start.

Jelavic will be up front, I'm just not sure how he'll set up around that.

    - If 442 or 352, probably Jelavic and Long.
    - If 451 then Jelavic alone.
    - If 4411 he may try Long or Fryatt in behind Jelavic or it could be Brady, Koren or Boyd. Many possibilities there.

I expect we'll see Jelavic and Long start in a 352 with McShane replacing Chester.

Away from home I'd probably like to see a 4411 with the potential to go full 442 if needed during the match but I'm not sure who I'd start and who I'd bench with our new additions.

Jelavic and Long....Matty on the bench. Sagbo needs a rest. Would like to see Brady start at LWB as he looked dangerous in his 10 minutes today and like Boyd is a goal threat.

Not Danny Graham ever again. Fryatt took the ball off his feet for the first goal due to his confidence in him..

Sunderland still in cup give us permission to play him. Says it all

LOL...Graham had already missed two sitters. Matty wasn't going to give him a chance of a hat trick.

Jelavic and Long, Matty to come off the bench if we need him. As he showed today you can give him the ball in a half dangerous area and he can turn it into a chance and score it. Sniffs around those areas where he need to be for a tap in too. But other than his obvious goal scoring ability he doesn't offer a great deal else, in a game against a Tony Pulis wrestling team we'll need people either strong enough to hold off their defenders or quick enough not to be bothered, Fryatt is neither.

    My full team for Tuesday

    mcgregor
    elmo, Bruce, Davis, rosie
    huddlestone, meyler, livermore
    long, jelavic, boyd

playing 4-3-3 come 4-2-3-1, really need to dominate the midfield plus have attack options. Long and boyd will track back and do the graft.
Fryatt on bench incase of knock to jelavic, Brady on for last 10-15 for boyd to run at tired legs

So who would you pick instead of Matty on the bench then? Chazz is right Sagbo looks like he's on empty.

Jelavic and Long to start. Fryatt is, at this moment, third choice and deserves 25 to 30 minutes.

    Harper and McGregor up front.

Sick of Steve Bruce not giving them a chance .

Both capable of getting sack fulls of goals .

Jelavic and Long for me, give them a chance. Tough on Sagbo, but it will give us something different.

I was hoping Sagbo would start scoring but he's confirmed what he was in France for Evian, more of a provider and hold-up merchant with some ball skills and strength. Alas I doubt he'll ever be a goal machine

There's not necessarily anything wrong with that, if he's paired with a goalscorer.
