Photo: Mike Hewitt /Allsport Friday, January 24, 2014 7:07 PM Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has stressed that Potters striker Peter Crouch is not for sale. . .. Reports have linked Crouch with a possible move back to his old club QPR and a reunion with their manager Harry Redknapp, who the 32-year-old has played under at various different points in his career. But asked today whether he would consider letting Crouch go, Hughes said: âNo, it is not an option.â The Râs are trying to add another striker to add to their ranks and aid top scorer Charlie Austin in the goalscoring departement. Fellow forward Andy Johnson has not scored since August while Bobby Zamora played the last of his five league games on Boxing Day. Despite sitting second in the Championship, the west Londoners have only scored 31 goals - less than any other team in the top six. QPR have been linked with Auxerre striker Paul-Georges Ntep and Inter Milanâs Ishak Belfodil, but Redknapp this week ruled out a bid for Blackburnâs £9million rated Jordan Rhodes, saying the Scotland striker was âtoo expensiveâ.
Yes perish the thought of helping us in any way get back to where we were before you pushed us to tipping point at which relegation to the championship was inevertable Sparky !!! Looking forward to seeing the welcome he gets on his retun to LR. Just thinking about him makes me shake with RAGE !!
