I don't want players who are easily swayed by the offer of more money - Sigurdsson and Dempsey didn't exactly set the prem alight - but especially don't want players who chose to bench warm at another club over possible first team with us, how much passion in play are they going to show if money comes first!

as others have said not a lot we can do about it so why get that pissed off about it. i am guessing most on here are more calm about it as it wasn't a position we needed filling badly, and chelsea might have done us a favour esp if we dot have much of a budget, as we need DM and full backs not attacking players, extra is obviously nice for attacking options but as of right now defending is our main concern not attacking. attacking players i think personally can wait until the summer, as if we get top 4 we will be able to get a damn site better than Salah anyway, so that might have ended up being a waste of money.
I genuinely am not arsed about Salah, I will however be pissed off if we don't strengthen this window and not just with a couple of average bench players or loan signings. We need a first teamer or two and we all know where we need them....and no Brendan it isn't a winger who should be our priority
Check back at 11pm on the 31st to see how calm we are then. If at that stage the probable 1st 11 team sheet has Gerrard at DM, I doubt anyone will be calm.
This Alot of injuries, thin squad already, youngsters who aren't ready, some poor players in the squad and 4th place is up for grabs. Something needs to be done or we'll miss out on top 4
I really rate salah and think he has potential. I think the way we treated Assaidi is ****e and will have affected salah.
