Thankfully I qualify for phase one but for those who don't have season cards and want to go to Wembley. Cant you still buy the part season ticket thus giving you a loyalty number and putting you in phase 2 for final tickets???
I can't find anything on the website about this. It annoys me as, if I want to take my boy, I have to wait until general sale to buy him a ticket which means I have to take the risk of not going - I personally think there should be some sort of overlap where they reserve the amount of tickets we have for season ticket holders and allow a general sale for the remainder - just so I could guarantee having my boy sit next to me. I understand the "One ticket per season card" but the rest is a bit of a nightmare. I may ring the club today to find out about part season tickets
If you do can you write what they say on this thread Was thinking about getting one anyway as i go to enough games without having a season ticket Did used to have one but then due to working sat/sun I was unable to go, changed departments though!
So what are you saying here that we limit the amount of sales to season card holders or do you mean season card holders should get first dibs with the tickets that are left after phase 2?
Parents who hold season tickets should be able to buy an additional ticket for their children under a certain age (even if only on proof on birth certificates or something) Not sure how old your son is, but if younger than, say 10, then they cant reasonably expect him to have a season ticket. however, they should expect that you would want to take him to occasional games and should take that into account
Manchester City and Sunderland will be the first visitors of the season to Wembley in March, when they contest the League Cup Final. Sunderland secured their place in the final courtesy of a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory at Old Trafford, with Gus Poyet’s side losing 2-1 on the night to earn a 3-3 aggregate scoreline after both legs. Manchester City ’s passage to the final was a little less dramatic, as they beat West Ham United by 3-0 at the Boleyn to complete a 9-0 aggregate victory. Sunderland has been allocated the east end of Wembley while Manchester City are in the west. Each club has received an allocation of 31,580 tickets. There are five categories of match ticket are available to purchase, priced as follows for adults: £40, £56, £72, £90 & £100 (prices for those 16 and Under & Over 65 are £20, £28, £36, £45 & £50 respectively). Please note tickets will only be sold by Sunderland and Manchester City to their season ticket holders first. For more details on how each club is selling tickets to their supporters, click here for Manchester City and here for Sunderland. Call the Club Wembley team with hospitality enquiries on 0844 980 0038 or email [email protected]. National Express will be running services right to the stadium gates. Coaches will not depart until the final whistle is blown - you won't miss a minute guaranteed. Click here for more details. No it's difficult to explain but, as I want a ticket for myself and my boy, the only way I can guarantee us sitting together is by waiting and taking the risk of not getting one at all (which I won't do) - I don;t think it's wrong the way they've done it but, say we have 27000 season card holders, those 27000 get first dibs on tickets no matter what - The "General Sale" part should overlap with the 27000 still being reserved for season cords (- whatever have been sold to season card holders) for a couple of days - this would mean I can get my ticket and enter the lottery of getting my boy a ticket next to me as well. I know what I mean!! Basically I want the ability to get myself and my son a ticket sitting together for the game. the way it's set up, I can't do this without risking not getting a ticket at all Slightly off this topic (but related to the thread) - Isn't it amazing how you can get adult tickets for wembley cheaper than you could for Old Trafford!
That Wembley stadium chap answering the questions on that link is saying that tickets on the dodgy sites are selling at £200 already
He's 9 - he is buzzing about being there and really wants to go - in all reality it may be his only chance as a child for a cup final so I'd love to take him - That's why I'm asking people I know for any child's season tickets for children who aren't going!
Where have they got the tickets? Fake tickets you mean? Surely the real ones will only be in the process of printing?
Interestingly - if you go to "the london ticket exchange" and select "Carling Cup Final" we are not in the list when you "select a team"...: It also says tickets are available in the fans behind the goal for $295?? I can;t work that one out personally - have I just found a dodgy site!
This is the question and answer from the wembley stadium site - I think they must be fake by the sound of it; Geo Sweeney · Clydebank High School if Wembley allocate the tickets to the clubs and hold some for sponsors but how do these sites get tickets to sell at daft prices Reply · Like· 21 hours ago Wembley Stadium Wembley doesn't allocate the tickets, the event owner, in this case The Football League, allocated the tickets. I wouldn't trust a lot of these sites you mention selling tickets for £200 already. Reply · Like· 4 hours ago
I don't write that often on here, but follow the chat closely, but this something I can hopefully help with. I work with Wembley closely as part of my job. Most of the tickets that available on these are 'club' wembley tickets and genuine. These are guys that have paid the £1500 etc for the annual ticket to all events (averages about £120 a ticket), but then sell most of them as a profit exercise through these sites. If you decided to use them, make sure you choose the more well used sites and avoid the overseas based sites. Be careful too when it stats Sunderland end etc. You'll be in the right end of the ground, but on the middle tier so not necessarily among the fans.
No not like that you dirty bastards Ive seen a few dodgy ticket tout websites selling tickets for the final. As a non season ticket holder ive figured its a long shot getting one from out official allocation. Has anybody ever bought a ticket for something down one of these unofficial routes and what are peoples viewpoints on the validity of the sites? Bearing in mind they are charging around £250 Per ticket.
