Morning Everyone,

This is getting more confusing.

Is Haigh still leading the consortium?

Is Cellino going it alone?

Are Gfh Capital playing games?

There is not any other news to talk about. We are being linked with every available player in Europe. We just need to hope that when the takeover actually happens, its over, and done with.

If Haigh, Flowers and Cellino are in it together, it would not reflect well on Haigh, a lifelong Tory, being associated with somebody with a shady past. But for the club, it could be the start of a new begining....

Thoughts?

Former AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly turned down the opportunity to take over as manager of Leeds United.

The owner of Cagliari Calcio, Massimo Cellino, is thoughtto be close to purchasing a stake in the Championship club.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Cellino has already asked Allegri to replace current manager Brian McDermott at Elland Road.

However, the 46-year-old Italian is said to have rejected the offer.

Allegri was sacked by Milan earlier this month after guiding the club to just five wins from 19 games this season.

este he is very very wealthy but is a real tight-wad he demands success but patience isnt his forte and will sack anybody who doesnt see things his way. managers here will not work for him anymore as they have zero say in team affairs but get sacked if results dont go according to plan <yikes> i am not wumming when i say this guy makes Bates look like tinkerbell <laugh>

Mighty is just jealous and taking the P***

Best thing that could happen to Leeds in a long time if these rumours are true.

A lot of us are fed up with the likes of GFH and Haigh making empty promises all the time.

What would be the worst that could happen?

we don't own our own ground as things stand

we sell most of our best players

we can't compete with the likes of Huddersfield in the transfer market

At least this Italian guy has the cash behind him to make a difference. His team have been in Serie A for the last few years instead of the lower leagues before he arrived.

So what if he comes in and ruffles a few feathers. That's what we need. The apathy needs to be swept away from this club or we are going nowhere.

Well at least if we are going to have a crook Mighty......let's make it a bona-fide Italian one instead of a jumped up Tory boy or an investment bank with no money :bandit:

Betting on Julio Cesar’a next club was suspended this afternoon, leading to rumours that QPR’s Brazilian goalkeeper could be on his way to Leeds United.
Sky Bet stopped offering odds on Cesar’s next destination after it was reported that Massimo Cellino is set to acquire Leeds from GFH Capital
