Its the suspensions that worry me, he's no good to us in the stands. I agree with you that he would inject far more guile and grunt in the middle and I would defo have him over Whelan.
Re-Cattermole, he would certainly add a bit of `steel` into our midfield,because I do have my doubts about N`Zonzi`s dedication to the cause,but as everyone has stated,his disciplinary record is terrible,and with our reputation I wonder if he`d ever stay on the 90mins.!! There are also rumours regarding Louis Holtby of Spurs . Does anyone know what sort of a player he is?? He`s only 23 and seems to me to be a better long term prospect than Cattermole, but is he any good??
Holtby cost Spurs a lot of money...but due to the other mega expensive players that cost AVB his job, he didn't get much game time. A good player tho...typical German midfielder, better than any of our lot.

Meaning Spurs might be tempted with a £5 million bid On another story: Falcao might have quite a substantial injury, meaning Riviere (us) and Traore (Everton) deals might be off. Furthermore Riviere scored a good goal tonight and he has been in fine form, gonna be a bummer missing out on him if it is down to Falcao's injury!
I thought Holtby cost a fair bit, but just done a bit of searching, and yeah, he signed for an 'undisclosed fee' believed to be around 1.5m But I've also read Shalke want him back, but can't afford. Don't know the situation there, are they in a bad way financially, or are spurs asking too much?? Or is he on a big wage now? Exchanging one stroppy character for another then Sandor. I am not convinced by Odemwigie but I suppose it does indicate movements behind the scene and an attempt to slowly get shut of some of the deadwood and freshen up the squad.
