I chose option three. It's the most preferable of the four, for me. But I'd also like to know the squad's reaction when Dani returns in two weeks. The collective comes before an individual.
Don't know CBK, not until anymore light is shed on what happened. If, as rumoured, he has given someone a battering and then tried to head butt another player and the team have had enough of him, then he should go. One of our strengths over the last few seasons has been the 'team' ethic. To lose that could be dangerous. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm expecting some to call for a wooden structure to be put up in the city centre.
Yeh I picked three too. We'll see what comes of it I guess and Dani has a chance to win the fans and his team mates back over again.
For what it's worth, Simon Peach has just divulged a few more details... ...it was Jose Fonte, who Osvaldo both punched and head-butted. Not the bloodbath that some suggested. Saints players very unhappy and defend Jose.
Whatever the circumstances I don't think a move in the next 8 days is realistic. We'll see what happens after his cool off.
a hot cup of coffee is to be caressed, sniffed, gently pressed to your lips until just the right temperature to swallow.... ... not sure I fancy doing that to Dani.
Anyone who said anything other than "don't know" is judging prematurely. Selling him now would be foolish, we'd only be able to shift him at such short notice by making a massive loss.
I've not been happy with the signing since it was announced, but since we've got him there's no point in giving up on him now, unless he has completely alienated himself from the players and he is not remorseful enough to work his backside off to get into their good books, in which case we may as well cut ties. But given the information we have (i.e. not much) there's no reason to instantly jump to the conclusion he must be gotten rid of.
From reports and of course its only speculation. Players say he is mentally unstable and will not welcome him back in the changing room. That is now, in 2 weeks it might be different.
Be careful not to get splinters. "Judging prematurely"? His goalscoring hasn't exactly been stellar, he's had a touchline brawl and attacked a teammate. That's hardly judging prematurely.
No I am judging on the info I have at the moment , agreed very little , but the poll is asking for opinions at the moment . Easiest thing in the world to say " I will vote later as I have a degree in Hindsight " ................
