I was at the milk cup final of 1985. Great day. The bus trip down was fun. My biggest memory of the day was the team bus passing us after leaving the stadium, and looking at all the players with disapointment on there faces. Barry Venision looked directly across to our bus and you could see the loss really meant something. This time the look on the player faces will be different. I promise you!!!!!!!!!
I was there too - my biggest memory a 25 stone fella shouting " mind your backs" as he got his knob out and pissed in the stand! Hoping for a better mental image this time
Remember tears running down my face when our lot sang Sean Elliot's name at the start because he wasn't playing and at the end after we lost singing we love you Sunderland
I was there too. Got the train down...Ten hours down, played utter ****, Thirteen hours home..This time gotta be better....Please.
I was as well but I will say this in a whisper. We got to the final and lost and then went down! So we must win the final! Then that means we stay up
