    Talk about panic buy! <laugh>

Perhaps Moyes will play him as a Centre back or as a replacement for Evra or maybe at Left back but then again maybe as a Defensive Midfielder! Buying Mata smacks of desperation and the whole of the country apart from Surrey are laughing and enjoying watching this clown drowning out of his depth!

Mata is a top,top player. but he won't be signing for United 3 reasons why.

    1. Would Mourinho sell to a premier league rival? Where's the sense in that?
    2. Chelsea got nowhere with there bids for Rooney in the summer, payback time.
    3. The money, do United have #40 million to spend? Would they trust Moyes after the Fellini transfer?

United have a massive debt that needs to be paid, there bubble is burst.

Are United really a Premier League rival at the moment? They're in a similar place to where we were when they sold us Sturridge.

But was Sturridge as integral to Chelsea as Sturridge? Ok he's not playing much at the minute, but Daniel was a bit part player, sent out on loan, on the outside looking in.

And Mourinho would see United as rivals.

    Guessing that should be Mata?

And I think they're both in exactly the same situation. both bit part players, not fancied by their manager who prefers other players in that position (Drogba/Anelka and Oscar) to them.

Would he see them as a rival to the league title this year? No, not a chance.

Would he relish the chance of helping United take points off Arsenal, City (to a lesser extent, us and spurs) in order to help Chelsea win the title this year? Absolutely.

It may be a short term gain for Chelsea but Mourinho hardly plays the long game at his clubs.

  15. What? The ones that say he's a very good play and rate him in the top three No.10s in the league? Or you opting for selective viewing? <laugh>

    Lol, keep your hair on.

My point being your laughing at what you think is silly but not responding to any posts that actually pose genuine questions about his purchase.

Nah the ones saying hes over priced. The point of the thread I assume.

Hes not over priced, not in todays market. One of, if not the best No.10 in the league? FFS, Bale went for £85million, Torres for £50million, Carroll for £35million and fellaini for £28million. Even Darren Bent has a £20million+ transfer.

Ive not even mentioned the pile(s) of **** Spurs have bought.
