From Skysports Transfer blog The Hull Daily Mail is reporting that Barnsley have joined the race to sign Hull Cityâs out-of-favour striker Nick Proschwitz. Barnsley's Championship rivals Doncaster and League One side Wolves are also understood to be keen on the German, who has fallen further down the pecking order at the KC Stadium following the arrivals of Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long.
Very true John. I dont see Prozzy going anywhere until the summer. We need him for the FAC games at least.
To be fair I wouldn't blame a championship team for wanting him, and to be fair to Prozzy, he scores every time he starts!
Yes if we are still in the FA Cup. Even you should be able to understand that. Once we are out of the FAC then it could well change. The FL loan window would be open by then if we get to round 5.
No. If any club offers to sign him and take over the wages or a good portion o them then he'll be gone. He's got 18 months on his contract, we're not going to risk being stuck with him next season by making any clubs that are interested in signing him look for alternatives, just so we can put him on the bench him in a competition we don't give a **** about. We'll offload him and stick a kid on the bench instead. We've already got Jelavic and Long for the league, and Fryatt and Sagbo for the cup.
I ****ing hope not. Rumours suggest he's off to Milan and we've got Wayne Hennessey lined up to replace him.
I'd heard Milan but, creepers, Wawye Hennessey!! If it's Milan can't he just sign a pre-contract agreement & go in the summer?
