SSN reporting an end of the season agreement. Could this mean Cabs kept til the summer or, if they want him in a wide advanced role, Ben Arfa?
From what i've seen of youtube vids (don't snigger!) he looks like he cud replace Cabaye and compliment Anita much better in the middle, It's tough cos CM is an area i feel we're strongest but i think we cud do alot worse than swap cabaye for this fella

I for one am excited. It's about time we got a player signed, even if it is in the summer.

But it's MA in charge, this is exactly the plan.

Sell Cabaye + HBA then bring in Cabella = profit.

If the only way, we're going to get Cabella is to sacrifice HBA, I would do it without a second thought.
Cabaye is a different ball game, if a big bid comes in we're not doing anything that any other club would be doing by selling.

As a rule, we don't sell players unless it suits the club or we don't have a choice like in the case of Ba.
If anything we hold onto some players too long, such as Shola.

PSG are the most likely bidders for Cabaye... if he does go, we must keep HBA who could easily play the AM role.

If we got £25m for Cabaye then the £12.3m tag looks credible for Cabella.

Is this HBA not going to Dubai/transfer stuff not the press putting 2+2 together to get 567 again. I seem to remember him being released from oter trips to visit is family in Tunisia? I could be making that up though what with my new role as gutter press. If the deal for Cabella involved HBA going there on loan, I'd be bang up for that. If we are selling Cabaye, I think we'll need another number 10. Maybe we'll sell Cabaye, HBA and bring in Cabella, Luuk and Siem De Jong. Job done.

2 out and 3 in doesn't work. So we'd need to throw in Obertan, just to balance the Force. <ok>

Buy one and get one free. Montpellier would be mad not to take up this offer.

Yep and two heads are better than one.

Well, unless the one head is the size of two.

Scratch Cabella off the list.
Oh well, one less coming in to worry about.
How many does that make now that Joe has secured.

Montpellier President Louis Nicollin has told our colleagues at RTL that nothing at all is done for Remy Cabella and that nothing will be done (this month).

‘I have no intention of paying enormous taxes this year, because the budget closes on the 30th June. I would prefer that he leaves on the 1st July, or later. Then, and only then, if there are good offers, that will allow us to have a great next season, especially if we are in Ligue 1.’

‘There is however no question about it happening now. I have heard everything in the last days. It is all baseless.’

This suggests that Louis’ son Laurent Nicollin’s claims that an agreement had been made with Newcastle for the transfer of Remy Cabella for June to Midi Libre is indeed false. Montpellier manager Rolland Courbis also had his say just days before the false Newcastle-Montpellier agreement for Remy Cabella stories were announced yesterday.

He had the following to say:

‘I think Newcastle are interested because they will definitely say yes to PSG for the money (Cabaye). But us, we are not stupid and to give Cabella for Cabaye to these English people, is rubbish!’

‘There is already one of us who is over there (Yanga-MBiwa) and I wish him all the best. I think that Remy deserves something else other than Newcastle. Me, personally, I would not go over there. You have to piss yourself over in Newcastle… in London, okay I understand.’

Get French Football News would like to apologise to any reader who was yesterday confused by our reporting of the situation. As you can imagine, the developments in the past 24 hours have been highly contradictory.

No blonde moment. I read it 3 times just in case it made more sense after another read, but no it's just jibberish.

This deal is dead until the summer. Then its just a case of which other clubs come in for him I suppose.

Frankly Montpeillier's president seems pretty unreliable. He has said about 4 different things about the deal in the last few days.

Maybe he believes the North east is too cold and pissing oneself is the only solution to the intense sub zero weather. Either that or he is a stupid ****. The latter is probably more correct.

Then again its probably a bad translation - more like 'I wouldn't piss in Newcastle' or something similar.
