Lots of chatter on Twitter about a PSG 26m Euro bid for Cabaye.
That's just over £21m which aimt bad business.
    Could be bull though...

Should leave in the summer. We've got our system built around him in that number 10 role and it's working. He's playing his best football since he's been at the club IMO.

We should sign Cabella this window, give him 6 months to adapt so that he can hit the ground running from the start of next season (whilst knowing that this deal will be funded by the Cabaye sale)...win-win surely???

Think I read that he wont leave this window unless we sign Cabella this window as an auto replacement. This seems the type of deal Ashley is looking for buy cheap sell on with a good profit and getting a replacement in as well,

Didn't he lose heart when🀄he was linked to other big clubs in England?

Can't afford to sell him if he plays like he did yesterday. Had some cracking performances this year especially away from home.

The points he's won for us are worth more than what's being offered.

It might be better to let him go rather than have a player who won't be at the races. Especially considering as you say, he is the focal point of the team.

Not so fast. I see your game. You just want us to sell him before the derby. Naughty, naughty.

Ah right...to be fair I don't think he wants to go in this window. He's in the form of his life and it's World Cup year. Any move would be a risk.

Honestly think it'll be a summer move. I reckon it would have to be a bid near to 30m for someone to get him in the next 12 days.

If somebody offered £30m, Ashley would have their hands off before they could change their mind.

We could always put a Cabaye mask on Obertan for the rest if the transfer window. Just a thought.

Thought I was being more sneaky. We might take pity anyway, its been while since you won a derby.
Swings and roundabouts. Champions league football and psg are much more high profile than Newcastle. That's not a dig BTW. But they could do more for staking a world cup spot than playing at Newcastle.

But they have Veratti, Motta, Pastore etc. He's not certain to start where as he's the main man for us.

I just think a summer move makes sense. A January move isn't a disaster for us. We're all but certain of a top ten finish either way. It's just with him we do have an outside shot of qualifying for the Europa League.

Or an Obertan mask on Cabaye. They'll think this 'Obertan' is amazing and offer us £30m for him.

That's true, of course. Big fish small pond, or small fish in a big pond- that's not a problem that is going to change at the top clubs. If he is good enough and has the stomach for it, forcing his way in would stand him in better stead than being so!ewhere he is a guaranteed starter. Its not like hell struggle, its easier to play with better players around you.
