Would give Yoshida and JWP a 5 but completely agree with the rest.

I agree Clyne is by far superior defensively but Chambers is much much better going forward. Just didn't have the best game today.

Not sure that I'd agree he's "much much better" at going forward. Not sure I'd say he's better going forward at all actually. That's not to degrade Chambers at all, but Clyne is excellent at both.

I've never criticised Wanyama. He's always been an absolute essential in my eyes. Physical presence is the last piece needed in our jigsaw.

Clyne is certainly the better man for man defender, but then he has a few years of experience over Chambers, so there is time. At the moment, if I'm picking my best RB it's Nathanial every time. However, if Nat is a little below 100% fitness then Calum becomes an excellent substitute. Chambers is going to be a heck of a player when he gets older. He's quick, intelligent, and RB isn't his best position, though, for an 18 year old, he's excellent. He's versatile too, and can play from attacking midfield through to CB, down the central or right side. For me, Nat is a model RB. Extremely fast, superb in the tackle, and has good vision too. Plus he's rarely caught out of position. All he needs to do is add Richardson/Butterfield quality of crossing to his game and he's a shoe-in for England. And he's acquiring that too.

BTW, Chambers captains the England U19s and plays in midfield.

Sorry, didn't mean to infer you'd said that. A lot if others have.

And if he had got another inch of the ball it would have rebounded into play or gone behind for a corner. He would then be receiving praise for the save rather than a lot of criticism. Fine margins!
