Rosenior - outstanding game Davies - reliable as usual Bruce - some nice blocks Poor performance overall. Mid-field was non existent. No offensive threat other than Jelavic early miss.
Yes. Fabulous play by him and rosey both to set Jelavic up for that sitter, if Jelly had made the most of their good work we'd have had a point. Moments of class like that are where games are own and it's not Korens fault it didn't get scored. It was probably about the only good thing we did all game. Also only thing he did wrong today was foul snodgrass, and you can argue the only reason he got that wrong is because he didn't hurt the foul dirty cheating little runt. So Koren deserves 2nd. Davies 3rd by the way when you count up the votes mr. headband.
1) Rosenior - He bossed the defence, brilliant decision to put him back to LWB when the ex-white ****e diving turd Snodgrass was giving Figueroa a nightmare task all half. Composed and commanding at the back. Needs to work on his crossing and he'll be the full package. Brilliant performance from him. 2) Davies - His usual self. Reliant, strong and a massive aerial presence. His clearances let him down today, but he was again solid and consistent throughout the 90 minutes. 3) Ermmm... Not quite sure. Elmohamady made some great runs down the right, but his crossing let him down. McGregor also made some good saves and looks as reliable as ever. Easily the worst performance of the Season. Southampton comes at a close 2nd, but today was abysmal. It's dragged us right down into the battle when it was a massive opportunity to get ourselves further away from it. Palace rarely concede now under Pulis (I think I saw OptaSports tweet that only Arsenal have more clean sheets than them since Pulis took over) and they're going to see it as a huge chance to gain some ground. We needed a home game next really.
Rosenior- That's it, don't think anyone else really took the eye. As others have said apart from the Southampton game where we up against a good team at the peak of form our worst performance of the season.Norwich seemed to want it more than us, apart from Liam the outfield players looked collectively out of sorts.Hopefully we will get back on track get a result at Southend and give Palace a battering.
I'm gonna wait till. Motd before I comment again, but 3 or 4 people are telling me Bruce has cost us AGAIN.
Again I haven't seen it but it's trendy to call roko on his performance, when from what I did hear he was mom
last season Bruce was fifth choice behind Chester, Hobbs, Faye and Macca - this season we bring in Davies and sell Hobbs - there is no way that Bruce should be playing, yes he did some good blocks but so what so can our other players we have warming the bench, Bruce is constantly out of position - there was a line of 3 with Bruce two yards behind playing their attack on - he really is a headless chicken, we had a good passing game earlier in the season before he was picked - now its hoofball - he really isn't good enough, Brucie get Faye back in at least we might win some headers in defence and we might also score some goals at corners and we might start playing the Prem style football before you started picking your lad before much better players
I agree the fact Bruce is making blocks is normally due to his positioning or the fact he ran up when he didn't need to. Compare him to Davies who yet again was quality is very frustrating, if we are playing three at the back and Chessy is out we need a CB no two ways about it.
Really?? Rosie was dire on the crosses and some of his passes were woeful. I'll agree he did a job where needed but he was far from our best. I'd argue Livermore put in a decent shift on the whole, as did McGregor and Jelavic. Sagbo was ok in patches but agree he goes down way too easily. Bruce was solid at CB, as was Davies yet again. Fig woeful, Koren woeful apart from small patches, Hudd off his best but not terrible, Elmo still shocking with his crosses, Boyd energetic when he came on, Fryatt tried hard but showing he may not cut it.
Yep, if your gonna cream over Bruce winning a header against suarez then surely that glam is down to him. Again.
I only saw the highlights but he did two massive things wrong on there. First was a very typically timid loss of possession which led to one of their chances and the 2nd was a **** pass straight to 2 Norwich players, one of which Huddlestone had to bring down and got his first booking for.
Rosenior (some very wayward passing second half, but definitely our best player over the 90 minutes) McGregor Bruce Koren was a waste of a shirt. I'm not sure why Jelavic is getting votes either, I thought he was poor. Nearly 8 hours driving to watch that cack.
