Definitely. We could have easily have been three or four behind going in at half time. Let's hope Brod sorts it out. I'm not convinced the players deserve a rollicking either, the system was at fault but it exposed certain players (Gerrard and Coutinho) who are having a off day. When you have central two and one is having a off day it is massively obvious!
I agree, Gerrard needs to be either moved forward or replaced.. Far, far too easy for Villa. To start we need to get control of the game, then the pressure and the goals will come. But it's far too easy for Villa to waltz through our midfield, and the high line against a quick Villa team is NOT working.

Lol, this half... Gerrard dire. Johnson carrying on his previous year of awful form. Cissokho looks lost but there's no other option unfortunately. Coutinho just can't seem to get into the pace of the game the last few weeks and should have been dropped already for a break. People constantly say how poor our defense or CBs are but this is the reason why; they're totally exposed. No protection from either fullback and particularly today, nothing from midfield. Gerrard passing to their forwards doesn't help either. I said the second Gerrard was put into the holding role that it was a bad idea - I said it would be especially true if it meant Lucas didn't play there. Well, there you go. We look like we haven't got a midfield with Gerrard there and no Lucas. He needs to play and I have no idea why he got the criticism he got. We're making Villa look like world beaters the way they carve through us. Br is also at fault forcing players into this team when he should have stuck to what was working, perhaps bringing in Sturridge for Coutinho who needed a rest. Change it up or we'll lose. Oh yeah, and Migs with another mistake? Worrying how his form has been dipping recently with silly mistakes.
Henderson looked like the only one who cared that half. Need some passion in our performance, we need Sturridge, Suarez and Coutinho to all press and get in their faces, we're being picked off at will at the moment but I honestly think BR will change it at half time anyway.
Looking at replay Stevo definately at fault for first goal. Cissoko, Minny, and Johnson all could have done better for 2nd goal.
Why the **** would BR start Toure, especially when they have a ****ing monster in Benteke. Has he even won anything on the air today. Would have started and Injured Sakho over this piece of ****e. Gerrard needs to be replaced, right after the game call any ****ing midfielder with some energy. We have no ****ing hope of a top4 or else. He's way past it now. It was suicide starting only him and Hendo in midfield, we had no ****ing control up until the scored their second. If BR doesn't have the balls to make those big calls, he needs to leave let some else do the job. It was bloody clear that we had no control in midfield and Gerrard was largely to blame for that. Im not going to even start on Cissokho, what a **** up that was. If i was Suarez, i would punch the ****er in the nuts at HT.
I'd take sterling or coutinho off, move Sturridge/suarez wide and bring Lucas on. Then Gerrad can move up and make his mistakes higher up the pitch

Bit harsh on Stevie there. We'd been ripped apart before the ball gets crossed and then Gerrard is caught ball watching because he's not a defender. Least he was in there and followed his man considering it should have been the LB there
