Must have a little hedging "bet" in the big race at Haydock 15.15 1 point on each Merry King 6/1 The Minack 12/1 Katenko 4/1 Vintage Star 7/1 Night Alliance 8/1
Cheers...been offered 820 now o cash out but I'll let it run! off to London in a few weeks for some interviews so this would pay for it all! Fingers crossed!
If ume temps pour tout hacks up here I wonder will his price half for the supreme novices, best price I could see was 25/1.cinders n ashes won this race before going onto win the novices at chelts.
Can i just say - what exactly were the bookies thinking by pricing up Taquin De Seuil at 5/6 today?! As tward said he has been just edged out by Oscar Whisky last time and OW is in a completely different league to any of the trees he was up against today! Won by 15 lengths as he always should have done. A little bit later im equally as amazed about the price on Melodic Rendezvous. Ptit Zig is a glorified handicapper and should never be odds on against a grade 1 winner in a million years, especially giving weight away and on ground on which MR excels.
And now the bookies have the nerve to shorten the price on TDS for the festival!! I dont think he will win but how can they justify shortening his price after winning probably the worst grade 2 of the season
To be fair the second favourite against TDS looked to have gone wrong in the run. I agree though, the bookies got it wrong. I don't agree with you about the MR race though.
Taquin de Seuil/Sire de Grugy double for me today. Single on Katenko too. Like others, I think Melodic Rendezvous is a great price against Ptit Zig. Couple of footie bets leaping out for me today. Man City to win 5-0 or 6-0 (little cover bet on 4-0). They are absolutely rampant at home. Luis Suarez man of the match in the Liverpool/Villa game at 7/2.
Well done all on Melodic, very nice return for those who were on him. Lovely to see him back in form. Not happy though as had first two S6 winners. Guess I shouldn't be disgruntled if my final three somehow place!
Dunno what to make of that - on Melodic Rendezvous at 50's for the CH, so it's encouraging enough I suppose. Ptit Zig, despite being a terrible jumper, was still alongside at the last, but was outstayed up the run in. Can't buy a winner at the moment so if you are on Renard - try to lay it off!
20/1 for the Champion Hurdle now Melodic Rendezvous. He is a contender and could grab a place, can't see him winning it though. Would've been a good back-to-lay, he was way too big at 50/1 last week.
