As a Hull City AFC fan, what can we expect from Jelavic?

 

When he first arrived he was great. Looked a real instinctive finisher & rarely missed a chance to slot home with 1 touch.

However, last season he was simply woeful, & he managed only 2 goals in the whole year. Quite what happened to him is a mystery, whether it was just a confidence issue we just don't know

If Bruce can get him firing again you've made a great signing there, but it's a big IF imo

 

My #guess is you sold the likes of Cahill and Rodwell to focus on hoofball to Fellaini which destroyed his service and form

 

You'd be wrong then, as the style of play didn't alter, as when Fellaini moved up it was merely to replace Cahill, who played exactly the same role, in exactly the same way.

Rodwell was a crab, so I've no idea what you're on about there

He's actually a player I used to like tbf, but he's rotted at Stoke

 

Kev can play through the middle and that is one of the reasons why I would lile to see Ince come in. Bobby has also sent Long out for a month so you may see him get some games, lets hope we see this little group of talent integrated into the fist team squad as some are clearly going to progress...

Good luck to Jella, gave us some great memories, scoring against the RS at Wembley being a personal highlight. However this talk of Kenwyne Jones is worrying, especially with Lukaku going off the boil. We need a striker for the long-term to replace Lukaku, I'd rather not waste money from the Jelavic sale on rubbish such as Kenwyne Jones as a quick fix i.e one rubbish striker for another, i reckon Bobby needs to look at the bigger picture, maybe bring a striker in from the youth setup as cover for Lukaku until the end of the season.

 

Long is on loan at MK dons. Buthe by report is not the target man type.

 

We need an experienced head as cover for Lukaku IMO.

Jones is a red herring, I'm certain Martinez will bring in a quality striker before the window closes
