Of course, its great news Bruce has acquired his targets so no chance of last-minute ****-ups but.... I will miss the excitement of the "will we, wont we" on deadline day.
it is always fun to watch on TV though - seeing all the Sky Sports presenters getting excited about a third choice left back from Toulouse joining Stoke, for example. I think we should not discount another bargain basement signing
Deadline day is the most overhyped ****test date on the calendar. It's nothing more than a platform for Jeremy Kyle guests to reaffirm their celebrity status with another TV appearance. Brek Shea whoooaaaa Brek Shea wooooaaaa
I actually reckon we might still get someone in. Everyone remember Quinn's signing? That came completely out of the blue but was brilliant.
We could get real excited about someone leaving the club on the last day. I refuse not to get worked up on the last day.
I guess we don't know whether Bruce feels he needs Sagbo, Graham AND Fryatt as backup. (Assuming Prossy will be gone) If he feels he only needs 2 of the 3, then he might be putting pressure on Sunderland to take him back. It's not in their interest for his value to depreciate further while he sits on our bench.
It's in their interests for him to sit doing nothing for us rather than freeing up one of our loan spots for us though.
Yup.... I was secretly hoping for a late deal but... Ince off to Palace Zaha and Rincon off to Cardiff Gradel off to West Ham Looks like all we'll have are 2 out of 3 outs from Hobbs, Fryatt or Graham.
If true about Livermore going back, we may be after a midfielder. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...all-midfielder-Livermore-Hull-City-spell.html
