Rooney's been wanting out of United... he's going to claim he is a lifelong reds fan now too. (Liverpool red... not toilet red)
I'd imagine this deal will be more about the coffee than the Do-nuts. Yeah do-nuts are nice and all but Coffee is the real seller here. I'm not just talking about in the ground; there will be vending machines around Melwood, Coffee in the canteen, small coffee machines in directors offices, etc. This is brand exposure on a level outside of a tubby kid eating a bear claw on the Annie Road End. You'll see local shops will start selling instant versions of the coffee you get in Anfield and before you know it nationals will start taking on the brand too A football club like Liverpool is a great way to get your foothold in to the UK market. Jack Wolfskin did the same and now they're quite a household name in the UK
someone posted this on the replies to the article on the Guardian website made me LOL 'If you gave a dunkin donut to Sterling he'd probably stick his knob in it'
We all know what'll be on offer at half time in the away changing room now, 'Apple cinnamon chocolate fudge jello and a Marlboro Light, Wayne?'
Press release via Vauxhall confirms a 7.5 year deal with LFC. Apparently, these 2 deals are worth £20m per season.
New Suarez or new Downing... same difference both world beaters and amongst the very elite of the sport... ... well except Downing that is.
Could be worse.. could be a hula hoop or a polo! On a serious note.. good that we're expanding our revenue streams in different ways. Every little helps while we are out of the CL and don't have a new stadium.
Anderson just read this news and is making his way to Liverpool from Florence by sea on a rubber ring drooling.
