With the debt to Allam ever increasing. Is there away for us to self sufficient as a Premier League Club?

Or is City always going reliant on a benefactor?

And what happens when Allam snuffs it seeing as Ehab seems to have taken a significant back seat...

More to the point, will altering the name make us self-sufficient?

Actually half way down this article Steve Bruce does deny that the new signings are on a total of £100,000 per week.

This is what AA is trying to do before he snuffs it. Make the club stand on it's own 2 feet. If it has to be Hull Tigers then so be it.

I was 50/50 when all this first started but now i am so pissed off with all the short sightedness of some to a name change. Yes we dont know what will happen But AA business CV shows that he knows how to make money.

Let him try ffs. Hull Tigers may have a better 109 years coming up than Hull City AFC have done in the past.

BTW.....Mr Allam cannot change history whatever the name. He can only change/alter the club he own's future.

    Good article that.
'I liked him instantly. He was the reason I took the job. He offered me a contract which I think I was earning in 1988 and he didn’t have a mobile phone. Then he said “I need a bit of experience, will you come and give me a hand?” and I drove away thinking “I quite like him”.
'He is straight as a dye and underneath it all, a really good man
. In his moment of glory we should all be singing his name from the rooftops because let’s be fair, a lot of Hull fans would never think it would be possible we could sign Long, Jelavic, Huddlestone, McGregor.

But but i thought Brucey doesnt like him and only does it on sufferance and is looking for the exit door. GTF.

It is hard to say, but with the increase of TV revenue, it should be a more attainable possibility than it was the last time we were in the EPL. One draw back is the capacity of the ground, it obviously would help if we had a 35,000 capacity and fill the seats.

I think the strategy is to spend now to make sure as much as it is possible that you maintain your ELP status, which is going to guarantee you a slice of the TV revenue, and if you can stay at this level, then as time passes it should be possible to make the club self sufficient. As this article in the Daily Mail says, it is the Long game, in more ways than one.
