Thing is Polly, I think Bruce is here to prove a point and enhance his reputation. He doesn't need the money, but instead of being lauded for what is a remarkable achievement in getting City where we are, playing how we are, he's stuck trying to dodge leading questions from hacks trying to fill column inches with something more than the usual hyperbole. I don't disagree with that, trust me. None of this would have gone this far had he typed up some f**king plan with a few numbers. But as an owner of a business, I don't think he has to justify his decisions to anyone. Unless of course it is illegal, which we shall know in April.
