Pleased to announce I am the new Chief Executive of Southampton Football Club.

Also delighted to confirm that GMI has been appointed as my patsy.

She was interviewed and offered the post but declined saying she would find it very hard to work so close to Morgan and not be so distracted she couldn't do the job properly. She was also concerned that when she got the sack for sexual harassment of said Morgan which she said would be inevitable because she wouldn't be able to keep her hands off him the subsequent publicity would harm the club's excellent reputation.

 

I did wonder, but feared that this might be the case. A great shame that her progressive vision was clouded by the erotic blurrings of a young Frenchman. 'Twas always thus.

 

After seeing his credentials in the establishment and management of his own company, I'd like to see Mr. Do Prado installed as CEO.

 

A few whispers that former Newcastle managing director, Derek Llambias is in the frame.

Yeah, DTLW mentioned. He seems to be a bit like Cortese (tough negotiator, sometimes too tough) but without any of the style (streaked across St James Park because he lost a bet).

The Toon fans aren't terribly complimentary........but then he did get £35m for Carroll!

 

I would have applied, but restraining orders are such a bugger.

 

I wonder if Peter Risdale has checked through his CV to see if he is suitable..?
