What's gonna happen with him then?

DANNY Graham’s future at Hull City has been placed into doubt after a couple of clubs sounded out Sunderland about taking the out-of-sorts striker on loan.

Despite the departure of Egyptian striker Gedo back to his former club Al Ahly, and with Nick Proschwitz continuing to attract

interest on the continent, Graham’s future at the KC is also uncertain.

Graham ended his 11-month goal drought, stretching to 28 games, with his first goal in City colours in the 1-1 draw at Swansea back on December 9, but has struggled to get a start since the 3-2 Boxing Day defeat by Manchester United.

He'll be loaned out again apparently, this time to the championship in a hope he can score more goals.

Danny Graham could be heading back to Sunderland this month.

With Hull City's record £7.5m capture of Nikica Jelavic expected to be followed up with the signing of Shane Long from West Bromwich Albion, Graham has moved down the pecking order at the KC Stadium.

Martin O'Neill paid Swansea City £5m for Graham only a year ago and they are believed to be closely following the situation, with a recall a distinct possibility. It's not believed Gus Poyet would recall the 28-year-old to put him into the Sunderland squad however, with a possible recall only the stepping stone to another loan spell but this time to a promotion chasing Championship side, as Sunderland look to get the striker back on the goal trail so he retains as much of his value as possible.

The report in the Hull Daily Mail also believes a recall could come before the weekend, which would in turn free up another loan place for Steve Bruce's side.

Graham failed to score for Sunderland after his January move from Swansea and his move to the Tigers hasn't been much more productive, with only one goal coming in his 18 Premier League appearances for Hull, ironically at his former side Swansea.

I'm sure it will be a case of straight back out on loan...

We should be smart.and do business with a championship club for loan have the deal in place but don't recall him.till its too late for Hull to bring in another loan signing. They'll be looking at a Sterling or Zaha which could really give them a boost. Have to be ruthless

The question is! Would a championship club want him?

Lets face facts he has scored 1 goal against Swansea (apparently) since he signed for us (and went out to Hull on loan)...

Essentially one goal in an entire year, by literally any standards that is more than woeful

He scored 1 goal in 2013

But he's a good record in the championship, surely a smaller championship club like leeds would take him on?

Matter of opinion I guess. Poor side maybe but never a small club. For all the likes of Fulham are in the Premier League they'll never in my eyes be anywhere close to Leeds in terms of 'big club'.

Just like Burnley will never be a bigger club than teams they might replace in the Premier League next year

Straight on the phone to Brighton and use him as part of the Bridcutt deal for me. £2.5m + DG and we pay 50% of his wages for the next 2 years of his contract which will probably be about another £2m.

That would be a decent deal for us imo

id just say straight swap. Graham cost us 5m just a year ago and has Premier league experience. Bridcutt isn't worth 5m really and has no experience in the top flight

Thing is He did well at Swansea under a similar philosophy. I think he could do a job here, HOWEVER, He showed he doesn't give a **** at all so loan him out if we can't sell him, or let him rot. Just don't let him pull a first team shirt ever again.

Swapping him to Swansea for a permanent deal for Ki would be as good as we could hope for, surely?
