    Alright,

anyone heard anything about how the club plans to spend the remainder of the 200k they got to help out fans? Surely it aint all spent, some clubs are offering pretty much all season free travel.

I was wondering if anyone had heard whether anymore free travel was going to be put on for the last 5 games or something.
It is the least Mr Allam could do given his recent antics.

I hope not. It attracts the sit down in silence brigade happy to go on a bus despite being controlled from the start of the day to the finish by the police. Better to knock the price of tickets down with the money so the sort of fan who wants to get there for a day out and support the team go.

Don't get me started! I ain't meaning the free travel as many a times this season I could have took it but decided me and few lads would share the driving duties at various games. Far, far better!! We've even started to get fed up with home games. Atmosphere is drab!! Anfield was too but hey, we can't help half of them being plastics in our end and pathetic policing n stewards!

As awful it is to get to Norwich we will be there. Every week! Love away games when the "true fans" I like to call them go! People you've seen for many a years home n away! Even if you don't know them, you recognise them!

Modern day supporters (expect the old lot who still go of course) are a bunch of tits! hardly have a clue and the amount of times I walk that pathway towards the east stand and hear people of many ages talking like they've been for centuries and know it all only to say a completely wrong fact so confidently to there buddies makes me howl with laughter! I have been going since I was 7 and now I'm 23 and Jesus anything from ages of 7 to like 12/13 I can't remember much but I've learnt to keep my gob shut on matters I ain't sure on! Not be a *** and act like I'm the biggest city fan ever!

Just saying and having my say! Haven't really expressed my hatred for the modern day supporter and the "feel" they have made football gain!! I miss the old days with my old man (RIP of course) and going bananas and no worries of stewards kicking you out cause you farted and it's a health and safety risk!

    Phewwww rant over haha!
Thanks for understanding those of you who've been years, or just get my point!

(And yes I know without them we wouldn't be here but at times I just really miss the old times with the "family" like feel at football)

Norwich City on saturday is being subsidised by the club ive been told. £22 on TT is not a bad price.

Southend and Palace look to be full price. But i am using my car for those anyway.

I would be surprised if the club had ,much left after all the FREE travel last year. It has been a cheap PL season for sure.
Well done to the PL for giving clubs £250k to help away fans out. <applause> <applause>

I think a bit of it would have been used on making the West Brom and Swansea tickets so cheap?

That was just done between the clubs, we just agreed to reciprocal reduced ticket prices for away fans.

    Yeah.

It should not be necessary for travel incentives to be provided.

    Just lower admission prices.

    End of chat.

FREE TRAVEL is much better imo.

This has been the cheapest season for years so far where ticket and travel are concerned,.

Think you mean "Most football fans have said "Ram it" and then voted with their feet when it comes to attending away games, as they are no longer prepared to be shafted. The tipping point has been reached, and the FA are panicking as the atmosphere becomes funereal. So embarrassing on tv when you're selling a 'premium' product.

I don't see what's wrong with saving a few quid if the chance is there.

Apparently this does not fit in with what some see as being a true fan but at the end of the day some folk just have to find something to whinge about.

Better to have the discount on tickets rather than subsidised or free travel . A lot of fans don't even live in Hull anyway

I go on my own so prefer the free travel, as I don't have anyone to share the driving duties with, or pay through the nose and go on the train so we could have a few bevvies with the lads.

Gets me from KC to away ground, away ground to KC.

Perhaps if I had someone to share the occasion with on a weekly basis I would hold a different opinion, but I was a big fan of the free TT.

What a stupid post, i am a very similar age to you and i started going to games when i was younger than you. True fans are those who support our club, no supporter is better than any other. We are Hull City fans no matter what and we are in this together. I do not claim to be a better supporter than you, i never will i go to every single game i can, if that makes me a good fan, then fair enough.

What makes ALL modern day supporters stupid? What a stupid statement to make. So say someone who was 12 in 2008 they are could be 18 now, so due to their age they are a modern supporter who is stupid according to you. Those people who have got facts wrong could be older than you and going for far longer than you.

Why do Hull City fans feel the need to have a go at each other for not been true fans. Never got it.

On topic i have wondered where all the free travel has been as i am sure it was Stoke who gave it free for the whole season.
