    Can we?

    Yes.

    Will we?

Probably not. Suspect 4th is most likely. If not 4th then 5th... if not 5th then 3rd.

After that we beat every good team and draw away to the crap teams. We only make 3rd by beating direct rivals.

Could get fourth. Could get seventh. It's that tight. Seventh if we don't tighten up that defence, that's for sure. If feel we can score goals against anyone though, especially at Anfield.

I personally can't see Liverpool finishing any higher than 4th this season and if they do finish 4th then that would be a successful season for your lot. I can't see Liverpool catching any of the 3 above them right now.

If Arsenal do their usual **** up in the next two months i think you have a very good chance of third (if you keep your present form up).

see your point, but spurs utd and Everton are not out of it just yet.

be happy with 4th, all this talk of 3rd is silly in my opinion, don't think we are strong enough for it personally, get 4th then obviously we can strengthen the squad properly and be able to compete next season, but it would be luck for me why or if we finish 3rd this one.

    Expectation: 3rd or 4th

Likelihood: 5th. As Arsenal rightly favourites for 3rd.

4th will be between Everton, spuds, and Liverpool with United an outside but still reasonable chance. If United get RVP and Rooney back, 4th is realistic target for them too. Everton playing out if their skin and winning against the lowly placed teams. Spurs can put a run at any time.

And btw that reporter from the mail is useless at predicting...Tbh 'next year' is more realistic. <ok>

No one seems to be slipping up - incredibly tight at the top. Those two games against City and Chelsea really cost us, even 2 draws would have been significant.

3rd would be optimistic IMO as I feel City, Chelsea and Arsenal are stronger than us. But we're only 6 points behind the top team so anything can happen.

Keep winning and focus on ourselves... <ok>

And our defending needs to improve massively. Just read a stat that we have made 23 errors which have led to goals/shots - the most in the league.

Taking leads against Everton, City, Chelsea, Swansea (at 2-1) and not capitalising.
