One word, Brendan, yet you seem to have attracted a couple of usefull players.

We should have enough to get past Sunderland at OT but in truth i can see a very nasty experience against City.
If we did get the COC this year it could do wonders for Moyes confidence and be the kick we need for next season.

Its like a jigsaw, when pieces don't fit you try others until they fit.

Moyes has a few but also has a load in the box that are old and frayed at the edges.

That is where he needs to buy well. He bought some good players for Everton but looking at how they have played this season it is debatable if he knew how to use them, he seems to spot talent at a good price then use them wrong.

United will have nothing to lose against city (if they go through against Sunderland ) . A thrashing will be damaging for morale but no one will expect a win from Moyes. But a victory might be not so good if they do a Wigan ...

Loyalty for sure, never thought he'd follow Moyes, but for me there's been a lack of ambition for such a talented player - not talking about present moment but earlier in his career.

Leaving aside club loyalty, out of Utd and Everton the Toffees are his best option at the moment so it shouldn't be a surprise he's staying.

Reportedly he was offered 50% pay rise [£50,000 > £75,000] ? with new contract. I don't think he's motivated by money tbf, but I do think he should be motivated by playing at the highest level of his skill ability i.e. CL football. Who knows, he may get it next season.

who knows. 75k is prob fair its just a question of has he any better offers in reality and have everton actually priced him out of his "dream move" and he's accepted this next best alternative which is to sign up for what everton are then willing to offer.

    I don't know.

I know in theory he wanted to go to utd in the summer... reputedly.. by second hand stuff...

I would say he's happy enough but... good for everton all round.

utd should switch to buy coleman anyway <laugh> rafael is dirt.

nice view from a utd fan, wonder what the thoughts from tobes are on this one.

Moyes has not bid for Baines this window, which has forced him to extend his contract. He would have won trophies with Man Utd and play in the Champions League but now we do not want him he is settling for a mid table team.

I think Kenny thought he could go down the 'better buy British' route again and be as successful. Why we pursued Adam for so long I will never know [read recently his father killed himself so I wish him good luck for the future wherever he goes, it must be awful for him atm]
