Always backed Enrique and still think he's a great LB for us. Hopefully he's back soon. Whilst Cissokho has been pretty bad, there is a solid player in there somewhere. Just need Rodgers to find it. Since Cissokho has, at some point in his life, been a good player; Cissokho > Konch and his mum.
Fully agreed. Cissokho isnt that bad. He's bad for us yes, but he has glimpses of "oh he might not be too bad". Always looks like maybe next game he will be better. He isn't, but could still come good. Do you ever remember feeling that way about Konch?
I just remember being **** cared that his mum would come slap me if I said anything mean about him... Konch was alright before he joined us, few years previous he was competing for England's LB spot. He just seemed to drop in performance then keep dropping rather than refinding his form. Hopefully Cissokho isn't the same.
This is like having to choose between cancer and aids. Both of them are rank. Cissokho used to be a good player but I don't know what happened him, Koncheskey was always a terrible footballer and the only thing he will be remembered for at Liverpool is his mum being a skank that thinks scousers are scum.
operative words in bold... really poor signing. cissohko had too many moves, too much easy money and too many injuries... he's not got real stamina
Wooooaaaaaaaahhhh Mega harsh on Cissokho on this board! The guys got all the attributes to be a great talent, as someone said on another thread, defensive players take more time to settle in this league. Strikers and wingers hit crosses and shots that much earlier, the physical harassment is more intense... When Enrique first came to us, he was pretty hopeless. After a season or two he'd adapted and was one of the better left backs we've had at the club. I've personally seen Cissokho have ONE bad game for Liverpool, so I think there's a bit of an over-reaction at present But we do have Santon at left back, so maybe my standards are lower
you've not seen a lot of lfc is you think cissohko has had ONE bad game. taken off a couple times, lost place to injury and flanagan of all people (sorry reds but c'mon) and frankly aint fit enough cos he struggles to get back.
I honestly think Cissokho has improved from atrocious to merely dire. But it is an upward trajectory. Knochelsky could never have aspired to atrocious in a million years, let alone dire.
