While the moaners and groaners continue to moan
Hughton gets on with the job,
Jonas Gutierrez is now here on loan
A good addition to the squad

For what we do need now in our present state
Is a cool and experienced head,
While others fall foul of a pumping heart rate
    He´ll hopefully ooze calm instead

And versatile too he can play either wing
Or as one of the midfield men,
And what made his mind up to taking this spring
Was the chance to work with Chris again

And reading some Newcastle fans´comments too
I doubt he´ll let anyone down,
For putting a shift in and seeing it through
    Apparently he was renown

And if he can lift a few flagging spirits
Both on the pitch and in the stands,
Then this recruitment by Chris Hughton merits
Some praise, from all City fans. OTBC

    Yeah, good old fashioned workhorse.

Just the job to turn us around.

I think you need to change your style Royal.

Something akin to Edgar Allan Poe would be better suited to describe NCFC this season

When very few of our players are playing with passion, yeah it's a good thing to have someone who could help to instill it. Someone who can form a better defensive partnership, because we need to fight for the rest of the season. Of course there are limitations, but you always have a ideal, which seems a long way from reality. Still I guess we can all dream

carrabuh, vietnam - no, we know he´s not Juan Mata, but then Mata would never come would he? We have to pick up what we can, at a price we can afford, we´re still very much (and we will be for a while yet) a sapling in the Premier League forest.

The lady's will love him, he was a favourite of mine.
As I said yesterday he will give you 100% but final ball can be dreadful but he is happy to help his LB out and can put a tackle in.

Like Hughton, he is very honest, loyal, battles hard and will always give 100%. It's just whether his 100% is good enough now. As many of us Toonies have said, it's his end product that let's him down too often. But when it does occasionally come off, he'll have you on your feet cheering. I'm not sure whether he still have the legs for 90 minutes week in week out in the Prem though. We'll have to wait and see.

I would add though that he is a great character to have in and around the squad. Seems to have a good influence on others and improves morale with a good mix of hard work and banter.

He always makes time for the fans too and is happy to get involved in local events and to be approached. So I'm sure he'll go down well with the fans.

I wish Jonas, Chrissy and Norwich all the very best. Hope to see you all in the Prem next season. <ok>

<cheers> for that - still sounds just what we need at the moment, as a catalyst as much as an activist.

Two reasonable additions by Stoke, Guidetti and Ireland on loan

"Clubs can have two loan players from another top-flight club at one time, and Liverpool's Oussama Assaidi is also on a temporary deal with the Potters"

Has the loan rule changed, I was always under the impression that it was 2 maximum regardless of who their parent club was?

Ireland was on loan for the first half of the season, but they've now made that deal permanent, freeing up the loan spot for Guidetti.
