He might. It almost seems like he thinks the fans are idiots. If changing the name is the right buisness decision then let us know why it is. Show us a business plan, or a marketing plan, something that proves how changing the name will benifit the club long term. If he could prove why it was a positive step he just may get a vote of 51%. Most of us are not stupid. If he can explain it we can understand it. I would personally read anything he put out and try to go into it with an open mind even though I am against the name change I would do so because he was consulting us.
Thats different. There was no name change. The name is the Dodgers the city changes with the club. I know that the buisness name changes to but Americans do not really consider the city name as part of the name of the team. We are talking Washington Bullets changing to the Washington Wizards there was a vote for that. Thats a name change. Teams moving is a different convo entirely.
Ian Abrahams ‏@BroadcastMoose Unbelieveable what's going on at Hull - owner Assem Allam tells says he will walk away if he can't change club. Fans must be angry.
But the fact that some seem happy to let it happen in theory is alarming. If it was a choice between liquidation and Hull Tigers, it's Hull Tigers every day of the week for me.
The FA won't give a toss if he's going to walk or not. I think he thinks our Club is un-buyable or something... We're currently 10th in the Premier League, I'm pretty sure some investor would be interested in buying us even if he does walk.
I agree 100% Sydney Tiger. I would rather have Hull Tigers with the Allams then Hull City without him.
But just because Allam leaves, doesn't mean we're going into liquidation? I'm pretty sure he'd make sure there was someone interested in taking over before leaving.
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...it-Hull-if-Tigers-name-change-is-not-accepted Are your proud fans gonna stand for this blackmail?
The smugness and arrogance of the man is astounding. I don't care how much money he's spending on Jelavic, he's still a **** to me.
What if his replacement was a reasonable person that saw us as a club on the rise and was prepared to invest without holding the history of the club to ransom? What if they didn't insult the identity of the club and vilify the fans that wanted to see it protected? Wouldn't we then be better off?
Still, what ever happens and what ever league we end up in I will still support the team...Hull City...or Hull Tigers . Its not a case of only those who support CTWD being the loyal fans , not at all. Had some great away days at places like Stockport, York , Lincoln etc
Who can blame him when we have pro name change turds like some on here who have Egyptian spunk dribbling down their chins, and an OSC stuffed with dummies and flaskers? No wonder he thinks he can do as he likes.
