Diego the reason I swerved the CL is because anyone believing Utd will win it should be in the next bed to Christian in the looney bin.

Wher did you and Astro get the "win" bit in what i said? It is a very important part of the season because the further you go the more money you get and the higher your profile goes in players minds (players you may try to sign in the summer). I will be very happy if we make the quarters this season and at the start doubted we woukd get out of the group stage.
If Westham can overturn their slight deficit against City i feel we have a good chance in the COC

 

The reason winning it was mentioned is because "silverware" was mentioned in the article, the league and fa cups are gone so that leaves the CL and COC, maybe Vidic thinks Utd will do that double.

 

COC is silverware and the CL is also important to progress in so it is a very important part of the season for us

 

If you ain't in it next season you'll be looking for EL players in the summer, you just know there'll be a queue a mile long wanting to sign for Utd due to the pulling power of Thursday night footy.

 

Or Moyes. The cream of European talent are chomping at the bit to play under such a tactical wizard

 

Moyes getting some silverware would stop people saying he's never won anything, at least. It would help him a bit. But you struggled against Sunderland so I'm not sure how you'd do against City in the final if you get through, which you should.

 

City will win the COC. Utd will be lucky to even get in the EL, not surprising since Gollum is obsessed with getting hold of the Ring over any trophy.
