No shots in the 6 yarder, headers only

I have no issue with it, it works reasonably well in rugby. I do feel however we need to be very clear on it.

we could have after all 4 guys in the sin bin at any one time.

I'd rather foul play be dealt with (like the nasri foul) better. ten mins out... i'd cripple someone for that. sin bin should be for the crap, time wasting, persistent fouling, back chat, kicking the ball away and so forth. stuff sides can cut out.

The issue with football is not the misdemeanours you list, but the fact that officials don't get their decisions right. You can change the punishment structure all you like, but if the ref keeps getting it wrong it won't improve matters at all. Sin bins will only ruin the flow of the game further for all the reasons pointed out above.
This all seems, yet again, an American style philosophy of change for its own sake.

I do agree about the refs and I did point out yesterday i think about the newcastle gaol that if the ref had to open his mike and state his decision like they do in american fuzzbol it'd stop a lot of excuses.

Another good idea from rugger... make them play footie with a rugby ball. Will make the game much more entertaining.

We could adopt the skin-tight shirts as well. Martin wouldn't know what to do with himself.

I don't want to see what Bales nipples look like in a skin tight shirt... they look scary in a regular shirt... I'd be scarred for life.

if anyones seen a rugby game they'd know that from a set piece there's plenty of time to grab a shirt arm, two arms etc etc. cos frankly the shirts make no difference to a tackle in rugby.

skertl would be a lot better off than some.
