    Spot on.

    I'm pleased with this. We need short term cover out wide, competition at fullback and for Snodders and a bit of character and leadership in the dressing room. I think Gutierrez offers all of that.

    Now let's sort out our other problems <ok>

    as i've stated on the transfer window thread, he'll get slated on NCFC facebook by the usual doom-mongerers.
    as a loan, this is a better deal for us than newcastle

    I really don't understand any negativity directed towards signing Gutierrez. He adds to the squad in many ways.

    He's experienced at Premier League level, can play in a number of positions, is hard working, good in possession and our manager knows him inside out.

    I can`t see that adding an Argentine international would harm our squad, i hope he plays well when selected.

    Agree with this. Very experienced in the PL and a hard working player committed to the team. Can play on either flank or in the middle, or even as a FB. I'll worry less about Pilks getting injured now!
