Well, I know he probably will sign, but if you was in De Gea's position you would agree immediately. He makes me feel that he is waiting for another offer from another club.
I think you have to remember that De Gea is leaving a club that he loves and his home country. It's not always as simple as does he like the idea of playing for United. I think he's already made his decision, but I think he wanted to go to the U21's wiithout too much of a media circus surrounding him which there would be in Spain.
Apparently he is changing his agent as of 01/07/2011.His new agent, Jorge Mendes, agent of Bebe(fee to grease future wheels?he did cop 40% of the transfer fee!) and Mourinho.We have supposedly concluded the deal for De Gea through him and the deal will not be ratified until he has officially become his agent on July 1st.
That is true but he switched on June 1st and delayed his decision again using the u21's euro's as an excuse. He ditched his old agent on 1st June, but I thought he hadn't signed with his new agent yet? Didn't he have to give one month's notice of the termination so he can't sign for another agent until the 1st July?

This will be a make or break season for Anderson in my eyes, can you imagen if we did get Sneijders pulling all the strings in the middle of the park for us, with the likes of A.Young making run's down the line, Hernadez & Rooney runnig in behind and with fully fit valencia up and down the other side supplying great service. Remeber we still have the like's of park, Nani, Giggs, Fletcher, carrick to play around Sneijders in the middle of the park "wow" what an attacking line up
Well if thats the case then he can "jog-on", I've seen alot of him and yes his good but he ant no VDS. If he is trying to play games with our great club then I dont want him in goal for us. Just because he plays well in Spain doesn't mean he be able to handle the speed and "hard knocks" in the PL.
Why "if that's the case", the fact is we cannot conclude a deal for De Gea until the 1st July no matter what. We can do deals for players here but not abroad yet. De Gea isn't messing us around, if you think that a decision hasn't been made yet and we are just waiting for the window to open to complete formalities then you are most likely wrong. If we have doubts as to weather or not we are going to get De Gea we would have a deal negotiated with Stekelenburg by now which we would go for should De Gea say no. But we haven't made an approach for Stekelenburg. The likely scenerio is that all we need to do is meet De Geas release clause on the 1st July and he's ours.
