I know Coleman has been excellent but for me Zabaleta has been hands down the best RB in the prem. Rooney ( when playing) has been very good too. CM is where I can see a lot of variation and in terms of Strikers Suarez and Aguero but if you wanted three up top you could probably put Negredo up there.

Cabaye in the CM? He has also been in very good form this year ( possibly playing his way out of Newcastle to a bigger team).

That Barry is der besstt in der wrrrlld lad? :bandit:

I think everyone is going to have a few from their own team in the squads of the season. Just the way it works.

Is that what amused him? No idea.

I couldn't think of a DM (Toure aside obv.) who'd done a better job so far this season, maybe Fernandinho? Beyond that even with my bias I'm struggling to think of one who's made the same level of impact?

Does it have to be a DM though? I would probably say Cabaye, I think he has been awesome this year.

If we all wanted a laugh we could put Cleverly. <ok>

Aside from Yaya who you choose and Fernandinho who you consider, I would also put before Barry:
Gerrard, Sissoko, Ramsey, Henderson, Lampard, Ramires, Cabaye, and probably Leroy Fer

Depends just how anti-football you want to go though <ok>

    Nah, not for me.

Take out his dead ball delivery & Gerrard has been largely mince this season. Sissoko has mostly been playing out wide & I'm not having him anyway tbh, Ramsey, had a great season so far, but I'd have him playing further forwards, so it was a toss up between him & Rooney, Henderson - holding player? Sorry I'd rather play me Nan, Lampard has probably had the worst season of his career, as his legs are rapidly giving up on him. Ramires - decent shout, but not ahead of GB imo, Cabaye - smashing player, needs to leave Pardew's yard dogs though.....

It's all about opinions (even yours!)

Depends on how rigid you want to play, Barry is certainly world class at "holding" his position

I prefer more pressing and fluidity like with the Henderson suggestion

I'd also put Paulinho before Barry if you ignore the recent injury

It is for 2013 but technically have to put 2014? Is what it is. Agree on Ramos and Xavi and Iniesta have been good, but it seems they just give it to them now as that is an easy choice. Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Pirlo, Reus, Yaya a lot of players can go there in the place of those two off of last year.

Xavi and Iniesta are in on reputation alone. They're amazing players but they wasn't at a high enough level last year to warrant being in the eleven. Martinez, Pirlo, Yaya, Shchweinsteiger just to name a few have been better.

If you think BVB and the season they had. Reus, Gundogan, Gotze really helped lead that team. If anything Busquets in over those two as he plaeyd in most every game and was a bigger part of that team perhaps.

These teams are nearly always a joke imo. Sergio Ramos, Iniesta, Xavi are all in the team because of what they did in past seasons and there is no way any of them three deserve to be in that team.
