We Lost regardless mate . Pardews changes were pointless as We were in control so why change at all and if so Why 1 min after 7 min stoppage?

So, is Gouffran guilty of any of the above?

Erm no. He wasn't blocking his view and he jumped out the way of the ball. If he blocked Hart from making a save then yes, but he didn't.

And here we go again, Sunderland fans complaining about their **** decisions as if they've had it worse than everyone else.

 

Goal should have stood but decision went against us, and to be honest MRAW I don't care about Sunderland.

 

Woah... I'd take that Altidore in a heartbeat! Strong, so composed, great finisher... Wonderful striker...

 

Never offside in a million years

 

It was a shocking decision but we take it on the chin and move on. These things happen in football and it takes a very poor team to resort to blaming the refs over the course of a season. I'd like to think we're better than that.

In other news, Sky, BBC, 5Live and every other broadcaster will sack all of their pundits (including an ex man city player) who all said it was not offside and will all then start a bidding war for the superior football knowledge of Whiteyboy. Don't forget your favourite football board when you're famous Whitey!!

Edit: I am referring to the obsessed Whitey and not the Swansea one who clearly has already had his eyes checked

 

I'm never one to dwell too much.
It was shocking, all pundits and even ex refs (Halsey for example) agree it was 100% a goal.
The ref will get a slap down by his bosses no doubt but that's football.. we can't change the result.
Doesn't make it any easier to take though...

 

Its for the best that We lose the last thing We need Is people Getting carried away.

 

Wrong decision! But you can see why the linesman gave offside! He had a more 2 dimensional view where he thought he saw a player in an offside position moving out of the way of the ball and interfering with the keepers view! With the benefit of a replay the linesman/referee would have allowed the goal to stand! Again, a wrong decision, but hardly an absolute howler!!!

 

The decision was wrong. Not a problem. You win some you lose some! Had it been given, would it have changed the result? Probably not.

 

Actually it was the ref who gave the offside. So it's even worse. The assistant ref didn't put his flag up, and waved him over for a conversation because the ref insisted on disallowing the goal.

 

The assistant referee didn't give it offside during the play, it was only after Jones went over and spoke to him that he raised his flag once Jones had decided to give Gouff offside, referee made the decision for him.

 

Well, it's done and nothing we can do about it now. Move on!

At least it helped inspire the lads to give it a damn good go and galvanised the crowd too. It almost paid off. We need to take that into the next games.

 

The worst part of this for me is that now we've got to wait another 3 years for Tiote to get one of these on target again and it didn't even count
