I don't think we're the worst team in this league and there has to be 3 worse teams than us, so name them. So much can happen, will we buy a striker who can hit the ground running? Can AJ continue his good form and Brown his good health? Who might we be tempoted to sell? -and let's face it, we've been ****ed over in this window before ...but this can happen to any team. There are teams in the bottom 11 that can splash the cash -eg, Cardiff, Fulham, Hull and there's teams such as Swansea, Stoke, and Villa that should avoid the perilous drop-zone, my personal pick of the **** would be between the others ... WBA - probably good enough not to be there ... Hull, doing well and looking to consolodate Norwich, could be the team that collapses, but they will possibly do enough That leaves the teams to watch;- Crystal Palace, they're not such a bad team, I think they're just not a good enough team Fulham, they're poor, but they might buy well this January window Cardiff, some tough fixtures coming up will possibly see them rooted in the bottom 3 by then Mr Tan could be apoplectic, then again, a couple of key purchases could fix that. ...and finally, West Ham, well they might pick up with injured players coming back, but they look ****ing awful atm
Norwich Stoke Fulham Cardiff Hull Palace West ham West brom Will all finish below us, so any 5 from them Ps nice poll btw
Not sure in what order but West Ham Fulham Norwich Palace West Brom the way we play now under Poyet is brilliant and far better than the majority of teams in the league if we cant finish above these then there is something wrong!
I voted but the only team that will save our season is Sunderland AFC, we're taking great strides to keep it in our own hands so that's how I'll view it in respect of the effort being put in on the pitch, even if I am still a bit pissed off with the efforts over the last two and a quarter seasons. They're working hard to save us, respectamondo.
The bookies have shorter odds on Fulham, Cardiff and Palace at the moment! http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation
Voted the 3 London teams, just because that would be a nice tidy result. Who actually does end up going is anybody's guess, but it won't be us.
We need to win 6 and draw 4 and we will be fine. 2 wins and a draw from soton, stoke and hull will make this achievable. Really think we can do it.
It's a bit raw but that's to be expected from a squad who's played dreadful direct football for seasons. But gus only has one of his signings playing. Imagine what he could do with a few windows. Weather we stay up or not I'm excited about the future under Gus.
Long way to go yet. One of the more exciting seasons i've witnessed. Everyone down there has to play each other. So it'll make it interesting. I can see you getting out of it. I saw your highlights yesterday, and at least your scoring. Palace played well but didn't take their chances. Norwich are performing ok a the minute, but still losing, but this tends to change. I can see them getting out of it. West Brom look a team in disarray. Fulham have an awful defensive record. Villa are hit and miss. Stoke will survive me thinks. West Ham are desperate to stay up, so if results don't go their way they could be massive pressure. Cardiff are being done over by that t**t Tan. If we (hcafc) can win a few away matches then it'll help us no end. But we're finding it difficult. Fulham, Cardiff & Palace are my bottom 3 at the end of the season. I wouldn't bank on it though.
Pulis has transformed Palace. I think they will actually stay up. Chamakh on form, they seem to be playing for TP
Villa will be in big trouble, just wait and see, I think they will stay up but will be in the bottom 5.
Johnson has a big part to play in is staying up. Brown also. Altidore, Fletcher - must score or someone brought in who will. Poyet - his influence on the team has been immense. Mannone - on top form. Need this to continue. In fact the whole team. Whose worse, Fulham Palace West ham Villa
voted. Palace - too little too late, just don`t think they`ve got enough. Fulham - unless they do some serious business this window I think they`re gone. Cardiff - can`t see OGS even with the new manager syndrome able to salvage them. Tan has done too much damage imo.
