Yes but they are hardly more than lightweights in that are they? the rest of the time their league is almost conference standard. Are you saying you would rather Cardiff were playing in that Scottish league winning every game? Celtic would struggle in the championship never mind win it. jck
Don't want to take this too far of topic but if either of the Glasgow clubs were in the English system they would end up going up eventually. With the better standard of football, higher revenue and sell out crowds (50 thousand I think is capacity?) they would become a much larger force. However, that's not going to happen at the present and they are stuck at conference level. You may want Ibra to come but then again I want Messi to sign.... and that's not going to happen.
Heavily reported as fact that Zaha was in Cardiff yesterday for talks and that a loan deal looks "very promising"
4/5 Cardiff and 11/10 Man utd keeping hold of him. No good if you're looking at skybet , their odds are well off the mark usually
I have only seen this in the Mirror, can't find it any other papers, and nothing on the official CCFC website.
Caught the end of something on Talksport transfer rumours at 8.40 about a loan signing from Man U. Didn't catch the name but heard the mention of the player being on loan at QPR last season. Could well be Fabio da Silva as his name was mentioned to me last night.
Would anyone be interested in Carlton Cole coming to us? I know he's not exactly prolific but as a direct comparison between him and Cornelius was seen on Saturday I was actually impressed with the job he did. Its typical that his short term contract finished after they played us!
I don't know what kind of money he's used to earning but I would certainly like him here, just not as first choice ST!
Hull not shy in splashing the cash on 2 strikers today. Seems to me Hull who went up a distant 2nd to us last season have taught City a few things about how to survive in this league.
Grant Holt going to Villa on loan to free up funds for Wigan to take Maynard on loan. Don't know what anyone else thinks but for me Holt could definitely do a job for us. He knows where the back of the net is. Straight loan swap as the Diouf deal seems dead in the water?
There was something about a tweet saying he is coming which was deleted quickly, but not before it was seen, so this could well be true.
