Today was a freak result 8 shots on target and 6 goals, miss kicks that went in deflections that went in,paddy letting in a very soft goal and a lazy peltier playing half there team on side.No positives at all but might as well let it go and hope for much better next week.

    1) Which of the top 6 had we beaten
    2) I don't rate Barnes either
    3) I wanted to keep Clayton however I could understand cashing in on him as he performed well once in every 4 games.

Lots of players don't have Championship experience, some do well others don't. We will NEVER get our money back for Murphy, he simply isn't worth anywhere near £1 million. YUou could pick out every team that is promoted or relegated and say their players don't have Championship experience.

Wells who we were after came off the bench and scored today, he has no experience. We obviously couldn't afford him because the take-over hasn't happened despite Haigh claiming funds are in place when they they aren't.

Unless of course you conclude signing two players on loan a big expenditure.

I don't really remember any other parts of the season when we was playing terrible week in week out (aka bad form) worst we came to that was maybe the 3 straight loses to Millwall, Reading and Burnley.

Care to explain our one shot on target? Nothing freak about it, many seem to be overlooking this was a team with SIX first team players injured and out, why weren't they tired and why are they all not requiring a rest.

Exactly Chesh, as bad as we were, the Wendies had a lot of good fortune, and that's not taking anything away from how they played, although we probably made them look good, and I still say that was never a sending off, like someone else said it could have been a different outcome, I doubt it, but we'll never know

So we haven't strung several months of good form together, maybe average then if we haven't beaten a top 6 side

If we were as bad as you make out mate we'd be where the Wallies are right now we've had some good runs and now we're on another bad one, its time to regroup, sort it out and march on together<ok>

Not yet it ain't. Some of us like to have a good moan, a wake and the occasional sacrificial lamb.

We have been VERY fortunate, I have been saying for weeks we were batting above our station.

If it wasn't for McCormack we would be below the Wallies, how many times have we completely outplayed the opposition - As for the sending off, I haven't seen one professional report Sky, BBC Anyone who believes Smith left the ref with any alternative but to send him off.

    1) Leicester and Brighton but if you think we somehow having a poor season because we've lost to the likes of big spending QPR, Burnley, Forest then you should of wrote this season off from the start

    2) Do you rate Adam Le Fondre because Matt Smith has equalled him in goals as well

    3) Well our loss is defiantly Towns gain there raving over how good he is take a trip to Down at the Mac

Murphy scored on his debut as well, he was wanted by several Premiership and top Championship sides and we paid what we had to to get him. And yes some players instantly perform in a different league other take time. For example Negrado has instantly impressed in the Premiership, where as Oliver Giroud has taken a season of poor perfomances to settle in and has been playing well this season. Arsenal fans wrote him off in his first season, Arsene didn't. Writing off a young player with no experience in this league is stupid especially when in quite a few matches hes played very well, okay maybe his overall performence so far has been less than desired by he's defiantly shown he's got the quality to make it.

BUT we have McCormack (playing well) it's like saying if its wasn't for Danny Ings Burnley would be well below there position or if it wasn't for Chris Martin Derby would be well below there position. It's all hypothetical.

We have McCormack because our new owners turned down offers that quite obviously Bates would of accepted and offered a new long term contract to a player many reckoned was overrated until he that 10 game period where he scored something like 12 goals.

And the Wendies were'nt a tad fortunate today?

Jeff Stelling mentioned it was debatable. that was never a sending off imo,

No even before the sending off they outplayed us with half their second string. I have always said I can take a defeat, I can't take a performance like that and sadly we have been having many of those and I seem to remember more than the odd report on here this season how we were lucky not to have conceded 5 or so goals.

Sods law that would happen <ok> seriously though, do you think we would have won, we were awful all over the pitch.

We played okay against them and I honestly thought they were poor on the day. I didn't ask who we played well against I asked which top 6 team at the time when up there we had beat.
