With the Championship taking shape, I'm really hoping some of the teams I have a soft spot for can make it back up to the big time.

Leeds have always been a favourite, simply because I love the whole 'sleeping giant' idea. Similarly, I wouldn't mind seeing Nottingham Forest back up either.

That said, as far as I'm concerned QPR can go drop down a couple more leagues. Can't stand them, so needless to say I hope they don't come back up.

    Leeds.

Like West Ham, I always think of them as a premiership side even when they are in the Championship.

Leeds - Close by, great night out, Elland Road a cracking away day atmosphere
Nottingham Forest - Just always think of them as a PL club, seem to have an above average number of fit girls when I have been, er, did I mention fit girls?
Sheff Wed - Again just always see them as PL, I think its because the semi finals were always held there and Villa Park

Would be happy to see either Leeds, Reading, Brighton or Blackpool in the Prem. <ok>

Don't want Forest to get promoted as I thought their fans were the worst in Championship the season we were there. Certainly on the forums. I'd also be happy if Wigan slowly descend down the leagues too.

Would love to see Gateshead in the Premier League, just can't see it ever happening though. Wouldn't care less if Wigan dropped through the trap door to hell.

Always enjoyed my visits to Leeds so it would be good to see them back in due course and I think I'd rather see Barnsley come up before some of the other teams mentioned.

Leeds, Forest and Boro (the latter so that we can laugh at the Mackems for being the NE bottom dogs).

All the more reason to want them in the Prem - we might have a chance for some points!

The Heed Army in the Football League would do nicely for me.

Boro, Leeds and Sheffield Wed for the Premier League.
All three still to be in the Championship next season then.

Co sign all these, always seen tham as proper prem clubs, great grounds to visit. Also remember the florists tryin to give us grief on the old 606 so would like to laugh at them again. My sister lived in nottingham for a bit and yeah there are some lovely girls up there I was goggle eyed a bit (not at my sister, I'm not a mackem after all)

I would also like to see boro and mackems in the prem. More interesting.

Agree about having other NE teams in the Prem. Better for the whole area and improves the banter.
