King has been sold. Here's the link: http://www.shropshirestar.com/sport...lford-sign-leicester-city-striker-craig-king/
Well with rumours of Everton looking at him...this had me very worried. Thought they might use him as bait for the Yak. eeeek!
You lot I've been fooled by too many of those things to be fooled again! I was just thinking actually that we're all nervous that we haven't signed anyone (officially) yet, but it's nice none of our big players seem to have been mentioned in the papers regarding a move away. Lets hope it stays that way
Sorry lads - I was bored waiting for a signing. I suppose, if you think about it, there has not been much business done anywhere with everyone waiting for their best offer. I would expect us to have to defend an approach for "Andy" King in the not too distant future but, if we didn't have players people want, we'd definitely be doing something wrong!
I knew it was a little WUM because I was just on skysports/championship/Leicester & there is the same story about Pansil that´s been there for about 2 weeks, so I was expecting another King . Good try though. "COOOOOME OOOOON YOOOOOU BLUUUUUES"
If Everton want King still they might offer Yak plus a bit of money and agree to cover a bit of Yaks wages for the rest of his Everton contract Or i am just playing football manager too much
Andy King is over rated by many City fans. He's the "Zous" to too many foxes faithful and this doesn't sit well with me. Give me a few £mill and bye bye Andy I'm afraid. Andy King is too anonymous during the meat and drink games. Back end of last season I didn't even know he was playing. STOP making him out to be something special! Maybe he'll improve, but he'll need a Mr Ben job on him this season to be a true fox great.
The reason why we all ignore Kings bad points a little is because he is the best player to come from our academy in a long long time
King is neither amazing nor crap. He is still one of our best players though. Whatever you think about his disappearance in a lot of games (a very fair point) he does have a great knack of scoring goals. 14 would be decent for a striker let alone a midfielder. Completely agree he needs to develop his game quite a bit still, but as Proud Fox says he's the best youth player we've had in ages. Goalscoring midfielders are hard to come by and for that reason I'd still rather have him than not. I'd demand £6 million for him at the moment. I still think getting a hlding midfielder to play behind King and Wellens would get the best out of them. We were clearly lacking this last season. We will never have complete midfielders in the Championship so we need a balance - we need players who are good at the things King is bad at, etc.
