How's it going boys? Live in Kansas City, Missouri which if you didn't happen to know in in the United States. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 and currently play for my local high school team. I've been a Sporting Kansas City fan all my life which is our local MLS team here in the states. Recently before the current season started I decided to watch more European soccer or football as you guys call it. Chose to root for Hull as I have always seemed to root for the underdogs. I've watched pretty much every game this season. Even have a favorite player in Davis haha. Look forward to meeting you guys and waking up bright and early tomorrow to watch a big game against Chelsea
Love Missouri great state. Anyway welcome to the board and incase you dont know if you use this link you can get all the online articles about the club. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier League/Hull City Its the best way to get your fill of sports reporting so you arnt required to watch ESPN or NBC as they only talk about Man U.
Welcome KC hope you enjoy many years following/supporting Hull City AFC the Tigers. It's usually a rocky road.
They are springing up everywhere over here these days, was down in New Orleans a couple of weeks back and I saw this fella in a Hull City shirt and I said "ey up our kid what you doing over here" turned out he was on holiday and he was from Dallas, Texas. I was the first person from Hull he had ever met, hope he doesn't think we are all a bunch of piss heads Welcome to the growing clan of USA tigers KC mate
Welcome; I am sure you will find it different. I hope you realise that to be a true supporter from the USA and earn your spurs, you must be able to post during an earthquake, with books falling off shelves and you beer getting all shook up.
Welcome KC. There are certain things we need to know about you before we accept you as a right c*** on here. I've hidden that as I'm not sure how old you are yet. So do you like Corned Beef and how is the best way to eat it it? Brut, Old Spice or Pagan Man? Do you wear vests?
Ellewoods has done earthquakes. It's rather old hat, old chap. Post from the eye of a tornado, ideally opening your post with ' Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more,' and I'll be impressed.
Are you calling KC a bit of a Dorothy Ernie?? Harsh words there, it may take him awhile to get to Linnet car park but be prepared, they scratch and nip.....
Well done KC. Always good to see another International supporter. I'll be watching from Melbourne tonight with my Dad (originally from Hull and a RAF veteran), who'll be ninety next year. we're excited to be able to watch it together. Happy viewing to you too!
Nah, I was merely riffing on North American regional weather extremes and adding something from my extensive knowledge of iconic pre-war American cinema. I wouldn't suggest that a new member of this esteemed club was a bit of a Dorothy. Or even a friend of hers. However if he gets shirty and demands a Linnet link-up this will be my opening gambit. Put 'em up, put 'em up! Which one of you first? I'll fight you both together if you want. I'll fight you with one paw tied behind my back. I'll fight you standing on one foot. I'll fight you with my eyes closed... ohh, pullin' an axe on me, eh? Sneaking up on me, eh? Why, I'll... Ruff!
I have to say mate, he's pretty amazing and I'm pretty proud of him. No-one that meets him can believe his age and I can't believe how he never says "no" to a beer! Mind you, he will be having a bit of a snooze before getting up for the match.
Welcome aboard! Try not to use the word root too much though! It reminds me of carrot, parsnips etc! And I'll get a stiffy!
Welcome to the board KC. I've taken the liberty of slightly amending your OP for your future reference regarding our wonderful mother-tongue. Please don't be offended.
