There are some very fair and honest Wolves fans on the 2x League 1 forums though.

Plenty on there were commenting that we kept them to very little in the way of chances despite all their possession. And some said we looked the most likely winner in the final 20 mins. They are mainly very upset and annoyed about their inability to create and score chances. Oh, and the fact their keeper Hennesey refused to play.

Also some moaning about their manager picking the wrong team and using the wrong tactics. If we'd have lost that game 0-1 we would probably have done exactly the same.

I have to admit I watched the game on Sky with my girlfriend but I was relieved and somewhat surprised at the final score. Steven Gregory had such a good game, it does appear he's starting to thrive now under Taylor. He plays the Michael Carrick role very well, just breaking up play and slowing the game down when it needs it. Harriman as always looked a class act. This was the first game that I've seen Hess Jnr play and I can see why he is getting the rave reviews, great young player we've got here and is a brilliant passer. Saw a couple of challenges there that reminded me of his old man too. ***an had a very quiet game and was deservedly subbed. Dack changed the game and the guy needs to be starting but in the number 10 role. Hopefully he will be able to do that now with Keds having his operation and he can be deployed just behind Bayo and Cody.

Overall I was happy with the performance, we reduced their main threat of Sako into long range shots and Harriman dealt well with his pressure. With his threat neutralised I couldn't really see where a Wolves goal would come from.

My neighbour out here is a big Wolves fan.He said back in the summer they were already challenging Kenny Jackett's appointment
saying "Is he a manager for a BIG CLUB like ours?" My neighbour was due back from UK last night but did not show
I wonder why? Chicken or what?

On various forums some observers at the game are saying how well ***an did in his role of doubling up on Sako.
It seems he may have been given instructions to do just that. And if so, he probably deserves a bit of praise.

Core that was a long write up. Good read and agree with the player assessments. Lets hope we can build on that match.
