There was a time when Moyes was tracking him and there were reports of a £500,000 bid-Another one who never fulfilled earlier promise although injuries did play some part.
Got to be honest that Cottrell seems to be sorting his squad out pdq, and so far early signs are encouraging.

Certainly he (and Riberio) have not fulfilled their potential

    Shame all round

But in SC we do finally appear to have a manager who can see the wood for the trees.

We will be a better team and overall squad for it

I liked him as a player and said many seasons ago that I could see him as a future captain of City but injuries have been cruel to him and when he has played in recent seasons he has been put in along side Fontaine which isnt going to help anyone.

I still think he has the potential to be a very good player so in a way I am glad if he is leaving so he can go somewhere where he can get first team football and show his potential.

As mentioned also about Ribs. Since he left City he has put a lot of his injury issues behind him now and seems to be doing well at Scunny since Laws left
