http://www1.skysports.com/football/...-have-appointed-pepe-mel-as-their-new-manager Sidestepping MM who was once favourite for this job.
I think MM don't want to commit to a job yet until he gets his money owed by tan. Cant blame him for that..
Dai, although there has been speculation about this money he is owed, nothing has actually been said about it by either Tan or Malky. So until we hear further on it from them we have to deal with things as they are, and think Malky could take a job if he was asked. Up to this time I haven't heard of a club that has actually interviewed him for any managers job, could be other owners are looking at things in a different way to what was expected by the "footballing world"
Exciting appointment. Could go eitherway really, mixed CV to show, but he does play attacking football; hopefully will work well with Sess/Long/Big Vic and get them firing on all cylinders again. The primary aim at the moment is to stay up, so im surprised we havent gone down the stability route, but we are priding ourselves on Saints at this very moment by the looks!
Wasn't he one of the original "runners"? Perhaps Malky was just a smokescreen and he is waiting for Sam to use the exit. We could help him Saturday. Lot of chatter on Facebook about Malky's appearance at Bryntirion F C Tuesday night. Looks like it went well with Malky making all the right noises about CCFC and wishing success to OGS and the team.
To be honest I don't think many Prem teams will have Malky in their sites, If they look at his transfer dealings. 4th biggest spending this year against his results. I think only teams he's played for might some into the mix. WHU & Norwich but will they think he will do better than who their already got? I can see him going to a championship side and will be forgotten within a few years. Just my opinion.
