I don't see a future here for Konchesky after this season but in fairness he has been very good for us in recent weeks and the season as a whole. He has been a lot more reliable and steady this season. Maybe him losing that yard of pace has helped him as he is a lot more cautious with his positioning Top pro and a very likeable player and person
If you had to use 1 word for Konchesky, it would be professional. Pearson obviously sees something in him to keep choosing him over Schlupp or Bakayogo, or maybe its just down to experience or professionalism.
Having his best season by far for us. His experience has been invaluable. Looks a totally different guy, with hair.
Was our worst player against Derby, however that still probably warrants a 7/10. Still a very useful asset in this league- one of our thoroughly professional players.
