http://www.itv.com/news/2014-01-07/sheffield-family-jailed-for-treating-man-like-a-dog/ It's amazing **** like this goes on.
You stay classy, Sheffield! Sadly, in all honesty, this sort of thing still happening in the UK doesn't surprise me.
No, not sure they are human, but not quite sure what "humand" is either ( other than a typo of course...) To be frank, we don't always have to look quite so far for grotesque abuses of power. In a society which seemingly edges further towards rewarding exploitation and subjugation then should we really be surprised when these cases occur?
The footage is horrific how they beat him up. The people who found him think had they not got to him when they did, they would have been dealing with a murder. I hope the father and son get all they deserve in prison.
I honestly expected to see someone literally being treated like a dog on the footage ie tied to a lead, eating from a bowl, taking a dump in a park etc. I wasnt prepared for that violence.
We must be getting better on here. With the recent murder in Hull I think one of the 1st inaccurate inferences was the culprits were foreigners.Good and bad in all peoples
You didn't read the article, did you? Most people on the dole don't have £15k in cash lying around at home. He's got an ice cream business. At least he did have.
If that fat bloke's 44 years of age then I'm a Dutchman. He'll be out in three years. You get more for fiddling the taxman.
Drug dealer, drug debt. I'm almost certain of it. If that's the case as I suspect, it must be a lot of wonga for some scum bags to do this.
It says a lot about the snivelling coward and his lardy dad that the son gave the poor lad his best shots, yet the lad's still standing. I'm no hippy, but I cannot begin to understand what leads a person to believe that's an acceptable way to treat any living creature.
It didnt say what has become of the victim, or did I miss it? I wondered if he was in care, back with family or whatever.
"Reciving multi-agency support" which depending how effectively it it being co-ordinated in the poor individuals interest could be very good or very bad. I just hope for a family member who has the nous to negotiate the "system". I would expect him to be out of immediate danger however. Whether or not his long term prospects will actually improve is probably a bit of a lottery. Sad but true.
People have become accustomed to local crimes being 'under reported' when 'foreigners' are involved, so it's not surprising that people believe rumours.
"Receiving multi-agency support" tends to mean a lot of people are getting salaries and pensions for shuffling paper about, having interminable conferences and case studies. When the **** hits the fan any inquiry will absolve everyone of any blame, but lessons will be learned, procedures put in place...Until fhe next time.
