From what I've seen, he's a totally different type of player to Hudd. Bridcutt breaks up play and keeps it simple, similar to what Makelele did for Chelsea.
I don't disagree with that but my comparison was that he's a big, strong midfielder who breaks up play and passes it around a bit. Huddlestone also plays it simple when he needs to but does it extremely well.
He was one player I really wanted us to go for in the summer. That was before I knew were capable of signing Huddlestone though.
Agtree on point one BUT NOT point 2. Spare a thought or LOL for Roger Johnson who has gone to West Ham. He faces a 4th relegation on the bounce on his CV. 2011 = relegated with Birmingham from the PL. 2012 = relegated with Wolverhampton from the PL. 2013 = relegated with Wolverhampton from the championship. 2014 = ?? (maybe relegated with West Ham (again) from the PL..???
