Getting back to the thread, bearing in mind we have absolutely no chance of progressing in this up coming World Cup, I would personally look to take a squad of mostly under 26 year olds with one or two under 28 year olds.
No place for our usual old has evens who have failed to deliver anything in the last decade.
This will give our top youngsters an opportunity and experience at top tournaments prior to the next Europeans and World Cup otherwise we will be going into these events with young players who have little or no experience in tournaments because the likes of Lampard, Gerrard, Cole etc were wheeled out to fail yet again in Brazil.
Give the new up and coming players a chance

Agree...try some new players and give them experience before the Euros.

No one has got a chance except Brazil, it wont be allowed! To be fair I think our squad will be quite youthful. If only we could find some decent youthful centre backs and holding midfielders.

Pretty much that team except Forster will be ahead of Ruddy and Milner will be in there somewhere. Depends on injuries - someone will get nabbed.

Ps. Terry to 'munch' Suarez two games before the end of the season...

I don't think Rickie's place is safe yet. Needs to put a few more away. Prob mentioned above but Walcott out, think this means lallana is a dead cert?

Currently around 25% of EPL players are injured. Walcott was injured after playing his fifth game in 13 days.

Reduce the schedule by all means. Just no winter break. I love Boxing Day football.

Would be illogical to have the winter break at Xmas....be better to have it during the period when games are cancelled for icy weather. The trouble is hard to pin that down in this country...used to be January but still quite mild at the moment. Mauricio would be happy...more time for extra training :)
